Myself

My name is Kainalu Asam and I was born in Washington. I love running, surfing and skating. I attend Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus. Freshman year I took Biology and I enjoyed that course and I understood it pretty well. Sophomore year I took Chemistry. That course was very confusing to me with memorizing the different formulas and the different powers of different elements. This year I am taking physics. So far this course is fairly understandable. It is getting a lot easier as time goes on and I get more practice with everything that we have to learn. I am currently in Algebra 2b and I am taking college algebra next semester. Completing this course will give me a better understanding about the world around us. I chose this picture because cross country is what my world is revolving around right now. I wish that i could be surfing but there is just something about this sport that makes me want to do it time and time again. It could be the reward of winning state championships or just the thrill of the sport but the pain that we go through just makes us stronger.
