The topic for this blog is acceleration. Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity per time. And velocity is the speed of something in a given direction. Acceleration was a difficult topic to find but when I was walking around my house I found my faucet. When you first turn the faucet on the velocity increases very quickly which means that it is accelerating. When you stop increasing the power of the water, the acceleration goes to zero. When you slow the water power down it decreases in acceleration. Once you find the right water pressure the water has a constant velocity but because it is not increasing so the acceleration is zero. Acceleration is difficult to find outside of class but it was a very educational thing that made me think a lot.
